AdvanTex® AX-RT Treatment Systems
Orenco’s AdvanTex® AX-RT Treatment Systems are a dependable, proven technology for treating residential septic tank effluent to better-than-secondary standards, including nitrogen-reduction. AX-RT treatment units consist of sturdy, watertight fiberglass basins that incorporate recirculation-blend tankage and discharge tankage into a single module, along with lightweight, highly absorbent, engineered textile media that treats a tremendous amount of wastewater in a small space. One model — the AX15-RT3 — also incorporates primary tankage.
Description
Applications
AX-RT Treatment Systems are intended for small-flow applications that require an advanced secondary treatment system, including new installations, retrofits, or repairs. They eliminate the need for separate recirculation and discharge tanks by performing both functions within a single module and are ideal for sites with shallow-bury requirements, sites with poor soils, or sites with small lot sizes. The AX15-RT3 also eliminates the need for primary tankage.
Flows
AX-RT units treat wastewater flows of up to 500 gpd (1890 L/day) for the AX20-RT or 625 gpd (2365 L/day) for the AX25-RT. However, AdvanTex Treatment Systems are also modular. With proper flow-splitting, they can be installed in multi-unit arrays to handle higher flows.
